April Moore Skelton

April discovered Canopy in 2004, when she went to take pictures at a performance in the hopes of adding to her photojournalism portfolio. Instead, she found herself ditching the camera and grabbing a trapeze. April loves to perform doubles trapeze with her teaching partner and good friend Julia Franz, whom she met at Canopy. April teaches kids trapeze on Thursdays and Saturdays, where she indulges her playful side. When she's not at the studio, April is working at Athens Magazine as assistant editor, writing on her blog or teasing her cats, Mr. Cakes and Sgt. Whiskers, with her sweet husband, Conrad.
